Connecting your domain to the new website

This article will guide you through connecting your custom domain to your new website

Last updated on 29 Oct, 2025

With the MemberDay website builder you are able to connect your custom domain to it.  Follow the steps below to get it connected:

  1. Finish getting your website populated with content. You don't want members or the public to see an unfinished website

  2. With your domain registrar (Godaddy, Hover, Network Solutions, etc) set the nameservers for the domain to the following:

    ns1.mywebsitedns.com
    ns2.mywebsitedns.com

NOTE: Make sure you delete the ones that are already there. When done, the two above should be the only ones.

  3. Once the above is set, email team@memberday.com and let us know you set them and what your domain is as there is a validation step on our side. IMPORTANT! If you have email connected to your domain, send us the DNS records for your email so we can set those up once we complete the validation step.

  4. That's it!  We'll handle the rest.

It can take up to 48 hours for the nameservers to propagate, but it is usually less (1-2 hours on average).
