Working With Content Blocks

Move a Content Block

This article will show you how to easily move a content block on your webpage. Also, if you are having issues with the primary method, there is another way to move a content block that might be a bit finicky.

  1. In edit mode, navigate to the webpage where you need to move a content block.

  2. Click on the content block to be moved and hover over it. A set of tools will appear in the upper left corner.

  3. Click and hold the six-dot icon and drag the block up or down to the desired position. This is a drag-and-drop function, so you may need to adjust the block gradually until it is in the correct location.

Troubleshooting Issues with Moving a Content Block Sometimes, larger content blocks or app-based blocks can be difficult to move using drag-and-drop. If you're having trouble, try the following steps:

  1. Hover over the content block and click the Gear icon in the upper left corner.

  2. In the Block Settings menu, locate the Up or Down button (to the left of the Duplicate button.)

  3. Click the button to move the block one position up or down. If the content block needs to be moved multiple positions, repeat this step until it reaches the desired location.

Following these steps should allow you to successfully reposition content blocks on your webpage.
